Don’t do what Adam and Eve do. Who look around at the plethora of all that God has granted and say, “Why won’t He let me have this one thing?”
Look around at the plethora of all that God has made and say, “Why would He why would He allow me to have anything?”
Because what am I? I’m a sinner.
I’ve been granted a love that I could not earn and did not deserve. And He sent Jesus to save me.
Friend, if that does not fill our hearts with thanksgiving, nothing will. You will not be satisfied with anything else in this life if you are not satisfied with the grace of God in the life, death, and resurrection of His Son.
Many people have spent their lives getting stuff and found it empty. But no one who has found Jesus has ever been left wanting.
